wont let me shave

wtf my mom wont let me shave she says im WAYYY to young everyone i know shaves and my friends make fun of me for not shaving how am i going to change her mind!?!?!

My mum was the same. I started to sneak around to friends and do it... But then I suggested using 'Veet' (a hair removal cream that comes with a pastic razor with no blades). She was so much happier when I said that. I think it was cause you can seriously injure yourself if you use a proper razor if do it wrong:/

Oh Btw, I have REALLY sensitive skin so I can't use Niva etc... So I use sensitive skin veet. I swear it works and doesn't burn at all...

well my mom didnt want me 2 shave wen all my friends did and i was mordified! but my mom bought me this veet stuff and said i could use that insted of useing a ravor. so we did that but it burned threw my skin and i only had it on for3 minuts and it was suposed to be on for 5! so i had like 3 intense hole in my legs!!! i was crying and so was my mom she felt so bad. and then she let me shave cus she was soooo sory... but i am not saying do that cus it really hurt!! but my friend just started shaveing and i mean ur mom cant not let u shave after u already have! so i would just do that. 25 Oct 2009 / 0

tell her this in a very respectable way: You dont want to go behind her back and you want to gain her trust so you want to be able to discuss things with her in a civilized and adult way because you will be one soon enough. you feel shaving would be good because its hard to be the only one of your friends that cant, and tell her you will discuss some sort of compromise with her if she is willing like only going to your knee or something, then if she still says no then say ok thank you for listening and be very respectful no attitude, hopefully that might help her change her mind if she sees you are able to act mature about it and let you earlier than she was planning on it 25 Oct 2009 / 0

1) your 'friends' shudnt make fun of you.
2) if you tell your mum they make fun of you, she'd say: "what sort of friends are they? make new friends!" & that'd be it.
id say talk her through. ask her why she wudnt let you. if youv started growing hair, then your not all that young. i started shaving legs when i was like 7 or 8. xD xD but i started everything early like periods, hair, boobs etc etc.
anyways, she should let you. if she doesnt, then just do it aniwai & try not to wear skirts of stuff infront of her. Even if you do get it trouble, well... like jessd said, id rather get in trouble tahn be made fun of (:

yea, the best thing would be to talk to her nicely... do not argue or throw a tantrum and yell. Show her your legs , then explain to her what has been going on in school of how people are starting to make fun of you for your legs. If she still does not budge then ask her when will she feel it will be okay for you to shave. Then hold her too it. Now if your friends make fun of you... then tell them that your mom wants you to wait till..... But do not show them that you are sad about it...or they may make fun of you even more. try to stay confident and act like you can care less.... Also there were several girls in my middle school that was not aloud to shave. they were really bothered at the time.... but no one really cared that they couldn't. because eventually everyone will shave.
