how to quickly get rid of a forming pimple?

I'm getting a nasty pimple on my chin and I have something important tomorrow morning and I want to look my absolute best and an icky red pimple would not be part of that image! it hurts really bad and is really red but hasn't come to a head. Should I pop it or not? and what can I do to shrink it?

I have used a q-tip and dipped it in Hydrogen Peroxide ( H2O2) and kinda just held it on my pimple. it ended up drying it out for me. 17 Oct 2009 / 0

dont use toothpaste and dont pop it because you never know if it will get bigger w(with popping it) or explode (with toothpaste). Ive never tried it but ive heard asprin mixed with water really does work just like bethany said 17 Oct 2009 / 0

i would just try some makeup in the morning and hope for the best if it did come to a head i would try to lightly squeeze it out but don't massacure it that just makes a huge bloody mess then use an icecube to try and shrink it. and wait about 15 mins before you try to makeup 16 Oct 2009 / 0

If you dont want to do toothpaste you can take a aspirin and mush it to powder the add about a drop of water to it to make a paste then put it on the pimple overnight. that always works for me! 16 Oct 2009 / 0

Okay been here ...
First of all i dont advise popping them because it can scar and it can make it worse if it gets dirt or something in it, it can make it WORSE and it hurts! So what i do is try get some ice and stop it swelling and use a face scrub or something now and in the morning... apply moisturisre ( cant spell but apparently it helps) and add some blemish or concealer now ( and wipe it off before you sleep... its never good to keep make up on in bed ) and some in the morning so you cant see redness as much and hide it Hope i help xxx
