Ok. How Do You Tell If Someone Who Offers You A Chance To Do Modeling Is Real Or Fake..?

yeah ive done this before.
DONT give money upfront.
i went to a modelling thing, and payed money for a profile on their website. 4 months later the agency closed down and just disspeared.
They should have a website, or something like that if they're a real company.

If they make you pay money up front first. they will lure you in with a meeting and such. then they will tell you that they can put you on this website where companys that are needing models can view. but in order for you to be put up on this site you have to pay $500 or something ... for them to put pictures on the site. also trust your gut. if you ask any model...... a real modeling company will not ask for any money till you have your first job. 27 Oct 2009 / Reply answer / 0

first if they didn't give you a real card i wouldn;t trust it at all

second google the name. but they should have a website if it's real

i had a guy at walmart give me his card and i went to his myspace and you could see he was a real photographer but his ladies where all half covered and just not my thing.

yeah researching is a good idea, dont give money to it as some sort of downpayment or for your wardrobe either-at least right away. most are fake, the good ones are hard to find and dont go chasing you-thats why they are good. its like commision based jobs-no one wants them but they make it sound like you cant lose. 26 Oct 2009 / Reply answer / 0
