gynocologist?

so im going to the gynocologist for the first time in like a week or so and i was wondering if they do pregnancy test if you think your pregnant be4 they get you the pill cause im like almost a week late i think more and idk if they do or not cause i dont wanna be on the pill if i am! will they do the testing?

i went on the pill at 14 bc my period was messed up. not bc i was sexually active. but before they gave me the prescription they made me take a pregnancy test. i think its standard to get one before just so you don't take it while you're preggo. if you're pregnant while on it you could abort your baby. 14 Jul 2009 / Reply answer / 0

Usually once your a certain age they ask for a pee cup sample thing to test you before any decisions are made at every visit. I really hope you do know that you can tell them ANYTHING and its best to do so. They are very professional. Ive been many times cuz of many different reasons. their is nothing to worry about. deffinatly talk to your mother if you can about your concerns i know some girls cant talk to their mothers about everything. 11 Jul 2009 / Reply answer / 0

you can ask but yes the first time you go they should give you a test before they start you on anything

Yes they will offer you a pregnancy test if you request one. They will not give you BC if you are pregs. Which if you do take the test they will let you know if you are or are not then your gyno will take it from there to see what you will like to do.
