my dogs name is scooby and he is one
and he isnt real playful
what can i do to make him a playful pup?

just let the dog like he is soem dogs r playfull and some r just not
try some toys and some walks were thre r many dogs to play with

if he's not playful then he's not playful, there isn't really anything in paticular that you can do about it. you could try to encourage him to play more with squeky toys and things and maybe take him out on longer more adventurous walks to get him used to being excited and playing more often. but sometimes, dogs arn't really that playful, they just prefer to be stroked and loved more than playing(:

well not really. if that is the way he is there isn't much you can do. try to find a toy that he likes, a squeaky one or a ball..who knows maybe you will raise his interest in playing.

sometimes a dog is more of a lap dog

try taking him outside and playing with treats instead of a ball, toss them and make him get them to eat to start
