Mean boss .

hii =] . I work at A&W & i have a really mean boss, he's always making rude coments to people & puting them down constantly .
& today when i went to work my makeup was messed up & my hair looked discusting & all that & there were two girls standing there laughing at me after he made a really horible comment & i felt like sh*t. & I can't stop thinking about how low he's making me feel , like he gets really mad if i don't smile when a customer comes & i don't know how to tell him that I can't take it anymore .. i want to quite soo bad cause hes like taking down my pride all the time .. how can i tell him that he's really getting on my nerves without losing my job.

first you do need to smile at the customes it's not their fault

and if he's treating you unlike a proper mgr you need to go to his boss and call the main office on him

he'll get a talkin to and he won't be allowed to fire you for it.

what was his horribly rude comment about? if it was pertaining to work then you kind of have to put up with it. but if its not then you havethe right to confront him and tell him you dont believe he was being very professional because what he said had nothing to do with work. you can still talk to him about how he said whatever he siad though and tell him its not professional and affects the morale of his employees. ask him if he has a problem with you and yoru job performance and if he does you would appreciate it if he told you but you need him to be straight with you and not treat you badly without direct confrntation. tell him you value honesty and respect and dont believe youre recieving that at your work place. if you think he will only belittle you or mock you further then have the name of his direct supervisor ready to tell him and that you will report his rude comments to his supervisor if the satmosphere doesnt change. 1. dont lose your temper 2. dont be accusing, just ask questions it sounds less theratening and confrintational 3. if you use the name of his boss get his direct boss (teh next one up on the totem pole) not corporate or something). i handle work place conflicts at work so any question sjust ask 01 Nov 2009 / Reply answer / +1

but if that happened to me i would go see him and just say really politley " Sir im sorry but some things you've been saying have been alittle upsetting and i would like it if you didn't" Or something along those lines. Obviously dont talk to him if you dont want to
BUt remember if he has done this to you and other people, he has a boss too. If it gets to a state that its really bad then you have to go together and complain to who ever is higher than him. Saying something is the best thing to do and nobody likes and office bully.
