Zebra striped nails?

In my previous question, I asked how I should paint my nails for school. I read your answers and I love the Zebra stripes idea. Problem is : how do you do it? Thanks girlies!

you can also take a bunch of pieces of tape and after your do a base coat and let it dry. mark off one stripe paint it and do all your nails like that one on each finger and by the time your done you can do a second stripe on all of them

you can either:

A: go to the nail salon and ask them to do that for you

or

B: you can but these nail art pens, where you can paint over your base color. you can get them at target. they cost like $11 which is prolly more then at the salon, but you can re-use them and get creative.

when i go to the nail salon they paint your whole nail the color you want, wait for it to dry and then they do little half lines across your nail about 5-6 lines.
