Other than purple, what eye colors work with hazel green eyes?

I have fair skin and hazel green eyes...I wanted a color other than purple (love purple but I'm trying something new) that would go well on my face. I'm not a pro, so I need to know what blush would go as well and if nude lips work. I do have a photo...if some wonderful amazing person out there could give me some tips, Id be soooo grateful! *Oh! I'd love a nice look for work as well. I'm working at the Avenue so I want to be pretty but also a little unique. You know, so the customer will remember us. -.*

Hi there! I am a professional makeup artist and I, too, have hazel green eyes. With your hair color and skin tone I would stick to medium dark tones of peach blush. Veer on the orange side, not the pink. Natural lips are good if you're doing your eyes up big. Pick a color that compliments your blush and eye color. For your eyes, try highlighting just under your brow with a white or light shade. (I go shimmery for evening makeup, but flat for day) Fill in the rest of your eye with a light green, very pale. Then in the crease of your eye add a darker color like burgundy and blend it just above the crease and out toward your hairline. Then go in with some black onyx eye color. Use a thin brush and apply it like eyeliner, but add a little extra to the corners and slightly into the crease. Don't go in toward your nose. Blend it all together and out to the edge of your eye. You can create a striking smokey look by doing the onyx shadow under your eye as well. Be careful not to overdo it.

Hope that helps!!

Gold looks good on just about anyone. I use it with black mascara and liner. Then top it off with gold eye liner and a bronzer instead of blush.

If you want to be a bit more outrageous, orange is a good near complement color to green (I don't think you'd want red or you'd look like a Christmas tree...) or bright yellow. Pink in the shade of your blush or a little darker is cute too.

I'd say, if you want to do eyes, keep your lips a natural color or do a gloss with a little tint. If you want to make lips stand out, then subdue the eyes a little and don't get too heavy on your mascara. Making both stand out can be a a little busy.

As for blush, pinch your cheeks. Whatever color you get is your perfect blush color.
You can keep it simple by just doing the apple of your cheek, or go 80's and sweep it back to your temple.

If you want to see some shimmer, use a little silver or white shadow on your brow bone just below your eye brow and a little near your tear ducts.

If you want a more open eye look, you can use a white liner pencil and draw on the lip of your lower eye lid to make your eyes appear wider. This works well if you haven't gotten enough sleep the nigh before.

Recently I've been rocking the red lip (with my bright red glasses. Not much needed but mascara).

I've also flirted with a more 50's style, by using dark brown eyeliner, and mascara, pink eye shadow, and slightly over curled lashes, with similar blush on the apple of my checks, and a popsicle stained lip.

A touch of light blush on you forehead will add something special that most people can't put their finger on.

i have green eyes and when i experiment with makeup usually, gold, pink, and brown make them pop

As for blush, i use a nice light pink on the apples of my cheek swooping up to my temples, its not that heavy as you may think haha

For lips I usually put some of my foundation on them and cover them with a cute pink gloss so its a nuse lip with a pink shine
