so...there's this guy that i have a major sort of crush on, and my parents said they would completely approve if i started to date him and such so no problems with that. but...i don't know if he likes me. homecoming is this saturday too and i want him to ask me, but i'm not sure if he will.
the thing that i'm most confused about is whether i should tell him if i like him or if i should just keep flirting and giving hints and such. i've heard alot that guys my age really don't get flirting and hints and such, but i've also heard that you should never be completely straight forward with it because guys want what they can't have.
jovan (the guy) and i have been friends for 3 years now and i really just don't want to reck anything by telling him. i don't want our friendship to be awkward. we talk on the weekends by texting. and i see him everyday during half of 1st and all of 5th.
so my question is...should i tell him i like him...and if so...how?

and if he say's yes but doesn't say anything else you may need to push it one step more

maybe you could just ask him to go to homecoming with you. i agree with 'AshleyXAngelbite' the worst thing he can do is say no, and that's not so bad. maybe you could be more chatty than usual with him, and if he doesn't start to get the hints pretty soon, then maybe you should just go ahead and tell him? this way at least he knows that you know then.

Hmmm well every guy i know, likes to 'hear it how it is' they dont like it when us women keep them guessing! So id just come out and ask him! just me like ''hey if you weren't taking nobody to HC why dont you and me go together?" or something to that effect. You dont have to tell him right away how you feel about him if thats to much, but believe me its better if you just come right out and say it. Plus girl if you keep going like this the strain and disappointment from your end will get in the way of your guys friendship! What i do is just talk to him even more than usual. Guys will sometimes get the hint and be straight forward with you. Or play truth over texting. Then ask who he likes or vise versa. Or just go straight out over texting or in notes during class. Guys sometimes find that cute and will definatley say yes.
