Okay, start with a base coat..
Something that matches your skintone.
After your base coat, apply one color, preferably a neonish color, something that is bright & will pop. Apply on your lid under the crease, and a little over it. Make sure to put most of it around the inside corner & middle of your eye. Just lightly apply it to the outside corner.
After youve done the first layer, take some black eyeshadow, and put it in the outside corner of your eyelid. (This is why you didnt need to put as much of the first layer on around the outside corner.) Blend it, so it fades into about the middle of your eyelid. Take it up past the crease. Youre done with the black once it looks like its shaded from dark to light (outer eyelid to inner)
Then, take some white or silver eyeshaddow & apply it heavily to the inner corner of your eyelid. This gives it a really good effect.
MAC eyeshaddows work really well for the whole blending/ fading technique. Theyre pricey, but completely worth it. Go to MACcosmetics.com to take a look at some. They also have them in really bright colors.
(My personal favorites are Stars 'N' Rockets, Aquadisiac, Chrome Yellow, Carbon, And Parfait Amour)
After youre done with eyeshadow, then do eyeliner. Black pencil eyeliner works just fine, and gives you better control than liquid. Apply it on the bottom water line, and apply it on the top. I always do it rather thick on the top. You can do it however you like.
(I use black Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner, the mechanical eyeliner pencil)
Then mascara. Mascara makes your eyelashes stand out, and makes them bigger. You should probably go for good mascara, with nice bristles (Im not exactly sure if thats what theyre called or not :/)
(I use Covergirl Lash Exact mascara. It comes in a purple tube.)

There are a lot of different ways to do Scene makeup. Long eyelashes, so you'll need good mascara. Foundation/coverup that matches perfectly. Eyeliner in a rainbow array of colours, the same in eyeshadow and possibly mascara. Pale lips are in, so coverup on the lips then gloss over. Experiment with eyeliner, liquid and stick. Try Almay Hazel Eyeliner. It's cheap [ish] and it works. Use mostly cream eyeshadows. They work best. :] / Reply answer / -2 Reply answer
