FOUNDATION HELP
ok so i just got a powder foundation from maybelline.......the clear smooth shine free powder foundation and the shade i got is sand beige and the problem is it's too white on the first application...............i mean it looks so white but it's a dark shade.......how is that even possible? i use maybelline pressed powder and the shade i have is natural but it looks so......natural. how come the foundation, a darker shade, looks white? but the color settles in after a while i guess but it makes my skin less glowing.........help me?

Make sure you priem your face (with a primer or lotion) so that the powder sticks! Use a bronzer or blush to make your face look glowy. you have to had some contrast. 02 Nov 2009 / Reply answer / 0

sometimes it does set on top of your skin and it's good to have one of those big face brushes to blend it in better it'll still be shine free but you need to make the powder thinner and if you put it on with the puff it could be going on too thick 02 Nov 2009 / Reply answer / 0

it doesnt matter what it looks like in the compact or bottle-its what it looks like on your skin. just like sizes vary between stores, make up shades vary and its always best to try them out befor eyou buy them. try one or two shades darker...but its always best to go too light rather than too dark because light doesnt show as bad of make up lines and can be easily darkened by bronzer 02 Nov 2009 / Reply answer / 0 Reply answer
