Extreme Thick Dry Curly gurl needs Homecoming Hair Ideas!!

haha sorry I needed to add more things to my description

I have EXTREMELY thick, curly and dry hair. It looks so good when its wet and when i scrunch it, but then it like EXPLODES and gets sooooooo frizzy. Humidity loves my hair as well as water when its dry or anything close to humid (and wind) and makes it so frizzy and disguisting, it makes me feel so ugly and self concience. When i straighten it for dance competitions, it just looks so thick and gross and dry and never straightens all the way. When I scrunch it, if I dont put TONS in, it looks dry and digusting. If I put it in braids and then take it out, it looks good for about 3 hours and then EXPLODES (not really) and looks so bad!!

My first high school dance is next saturday and I have no idea what to do with it. I dont mind if its big but as long as it looks nice and NOT frizzy. I want to look glamourous with it either in a ponytail on the side or down. PLEASE help I need ideas I cant cut, dye, or do anything extreme.

Please help with any ideas

ok first you should buy some hair moisterizer and then second some really good hair spary and or gel..a couple days b4 the dance start using the moisterizer.....then for your hair for the dance take a shower then towl dry your hair so its just damp next take about a handful of gel(trust me my hair is REALLY thick 2) and rub that all through your hair...wait about 5 min (to let the gel kinda settle) then spray hair spray ALL over next you should try pulling back the sides with bobby pins or hair clips , or try a really funky head band thats not to thick and not to thin....or when it drys dont blow dry it cause i think it just makes it harder to do anything with your hair cause you already used heat and use a big curling iron and curl your sides back and then use a small hair curling iron do the rest with it ir if you have any type of bangs straiten them!!! !hope i helped
