Is he into me?

So, I've been friends with this guy since like, the end of October. I had spare with him every second morning & 2 classes with him. We would talk all the time, and we have a bunch of inside jokes, and he is best friends with my guy best friend Josh, so we are kind of like the 3 amigos..? lol. Anyways, I thought for a while I liked him as just a friend, but then I realized it was much more than that. For the first time in my life, around a guy that I like this much I'm not tounge tied, and everything just seems natural, and...right, y'know? Anywho, he had a girlfriend, and not to long ago, we saw each other walking down the hallway and he asked me to go for a walk with him. So, I agreed and he told me that him and his girlfriend just broke up. Nothing else though...strange. Then I found out he knew I like him, so we talked about it and he said he loves me so much as a friend, and even if he did like me more, nothing would happen because he's sick of relationships.

  Omg! girl he's totally into you but i think he's trying to see how easy you are. I've been around guys my entire life and they always say, the harder the chase the greater the reward. So don't give in too easily he'll think your well easy and they get bored with easy girls quickly but I'm sure he's gonna come around and admit it soon.

  Ugh! Guys so freaking complicate :))
  It's like you want things you can't have.When he said you should be just friends and you agreed then you said you won't kiss him,that triggered him to want you.He may be into you,but take it slow,don't give up so easily because it's all about the chase,if he get what he wants so easy then he'll lose interest and ruin your friendship.I think he is into you,but just go with a flow,you don't want to be a rebound girl,talk to him go for a walk etc..see if he rally likes you :) Good luck!

  We were texting, and he told me, "Megan, you are the coolest chick I've ever met. Legit, you're awesome, so much fun to be around, and you have the best personality I've ever met in anybody, girl or guy. You joke around with me and the guys, and you pull hilarious immature shit with us all the time. Best friend thats a girl by far."
  
  And he also asked me if I wanted him to give my first kiss, after we were done talking about how we should just be friends...? And then when I told him, "Don't get me wrong, I really would like that...but I think it would be easier to be just friends if we didn't." and then he got suuuper defensive about it after that.
  
  And now he texts me all the time, and he used to NEVER text me before either...
  
  so, what I'm asking is, do you guys think he's into me, or no?
