how can i get over my jealousy?

so ok, im not really a jealous kind of girl, like my bf haas many girl mates and im ok with that, but theres this one girl mate of his i cant stand.
she used to have a crush on him and she had told me at a party but it was nothing serious cuz she didnt like pursue him but they were really close friends before me and him got together, but now shes claiming to be his bff and theyre spending lots of time together but thing is i know he wouldnt cheat on me but still i cant help being jealous in case he has feelings for her. i
ve asked him and weve talked about it and stuff and he says its nothing but still shes really hot and wayyy prettier than me and i guess i cant help feeling part of him would rather be with her... what can i do to stop feeling this way?

I think you have a very good reason to be jealous. Even though your boyfriend isn't the cheating type and loves you, he is only human and if this really hot girl likes him and spend alot more time with him then you, there is a big chance that something happens. Now you have alot of options.

1. Everytime your boyfriend and her go out you can go with them. Not as if you are keeping a eye on them, but like you just wanna spend time with him and get to know her.

2. You could try spend so much time with him that he simply doesn't have time to her. (I am pretty sure that is what she is doing)

3. The last thing I can think of is, you could try to make him jealous. Almost every human being get jealous if the person they love spend alot of time with someone else. So you could try to find a guy friend and hang out with him. There is a big chance that he will get jealous exactly like you are now. Though be carefull because it can also have the opposit effect and you will slowly grow appart.

1.) U could hang out with her. Tlk 2 her. All about u and ur boyfriend. Then she will relize that u 2 really do care 4 each otha then she'll leave u alone.

I have heaps of guy mates, but there was this one who i used to like, i got over those feelings and now we are really good friends, plus he has a girlfriend now.

well first there's a good chance you're being harder on yourself looks wise to him maybe you really are the better looking : P

and second it's always normal to keep your eye's on the girls who outright tell you they liked and wanted to be with your boyfriend. like i trust my boytoy will all i have but i keep my eye's open if other girls come into the pic cause really i don't trust them.

don't feel bad just let him know you trust him but you don't know her very well so it will take time for you to be more comfortable with her. maybe you guys can all go out and just have fun in groups more (not 3 but more than 3 people groups)

that's if you want to get more at ease seeing how she reacts with your bf. if you don't really have a need to be like that with her then just keep your eyes open and make sure every chance you get that she's around you are close to your bf showing your 'property' kinda (cause i do think that if you are with someone your are eachother's property and you need to know how to respect eachother as well as people giving you the right to say you own eachother)

but.. if he wanted to be with her then i'm sure he would have told you by now, and you wouldn't still be together, so just put it to the back of your mind and forget about it, he loves YOU and thats all that matters. (:

I think that the other girl still has feelings for your boyfriend.. and she's jealous of you. She's jealous that you have him and she doesn't.

If he wanted to be with her, he would be with her. just think about it that way. He's with you.. not her.
