It's like washing your face, the more often you wash your hair, then the more often your going to need it. If you could wouldn't mind having a few bad hair days, then you could should only wash your hair every day, and use dry shampoo if neccessary. Bastiste dry shampoo is cheap but works really well so give it a try.
If you have already tried that then switiching shampoo is a good idea. Opt for ones which are especially for greasy hair - and again, if that doesn't work, then maybe go to the chemist and see if they can reccomend anything for you.
While all this is going on, you must not wash your hair three times a day. I have to make this very clear. While finding another shampoo, use your original shampoo once a day, and try that for a week, because your hair needs to get used to washing it only once a day. Try each shampoo once a day for a week, to make it a fair test.
Anyway, while this is going on, your hair isn't going to be looking it's best, so you can cover it up with hats, scarves - and I also reccomend using dry shampoo, because it will definitly make an impact. Bastiste comes in lots of different styles, tropical, blush etc - give it a go.
Good luck and let me know how you get on! 26 Oct 2009 / Reply answer / 0

What could have happened is that while you were dying your hair... the chemicals in the dye could have triggered your oil glands in your scalp to over produce oil because hair dye is very drying.... and your scalp is trying to overcompensate for that. 25 Oct 2009 / Reply answer / 0

are` you sure its not just extra shiny? im not sure why coloring your hair would make it greasy, it should actually dry it out, if youre hair is really greasy though you can put baking soda or bronzer (or some powder in it) to soak up the grease without actualy having to wash it again. Washing your hair too often can dry it outr and break it down-plus fades color. find the strogest color safe shampoo/conditioner you can. conditioners can make your hair greasier so you might wanna use a lighter conditioner like a detangler or thinner texture conditioner. 25 Oct 2009 / Reply answer / 0
