    Okay I know a lot of people who say splat, but there is another company that is similar to splat called Manic Panic! I heard it works and stays better than Splat. I think Manic Panic would be the way to go if you want staying power.

    If your looking fOr staying power try splat! I used it over the summer and now after dying my hair twise I can still see it. It does fade but u can use the purple dye in the shower as a color refresher. I personally hate splat because when u wanted to get rid of my purple bangs they stayed. It's a good product but also a commitment. Hope I helped :)

    Ya know, the specific brand is really a matter of personal preference. Clairol is good and so is Garnier. There's also Redken. My question is are you sure you want a permanent color? It does look better but stays on lots longer. That's great if you get it right, but colors like purple can be a little tricky sometimes. But if u have light hair, permanent is the best choice.
