What exactly is a wave perm? I kinda want one..

Okay, so I was on the internet searching for optional hairstyle ideas when I came upon this picture (this one) that said it was a a wave perm. I want to know exactly what a wave perm is because now I kinda want one with my straight bangs

its exactly like a perm
practically they put the perm chemicals into your hair
then they use large curlers to gain the wave effect
it uses the exact same principlas as perming you're hair tightly but i think the waves look much cuter and prettier i defs think if yu can you should look into gettinng it done
jst be warned that it does really take a lot out of you're hair and needs to be properly looked after

i'm pretty sure when the perm your hair they use very large curlers so it comes out wavy and not in tight spirals

i would assume it's not as much maintance as a reg perm

just don't brush it after you fix it in the morning i would worry it would all just combine and turn into long wavy hair instead of wavy tendrals 29 May 2009 / Reply answer / 0
