What do you think my sister should do to change her haircolor?

My sister isn't 100% sure what she wants to do with her hair, but she's leaning towards a brown color.

She is a natural brunette with hazel eyes. (Her complexion leans towards the warm side based on the vein test).

Please post pictures and be specific!

If you share her fair skin tone and blue eyes, you should be able to pull off this color quite well. (Stewart, who appears to be a natural dark blonde, has gone from black to brown to blonde and looked amazing every time.)
We have just have three cautionary words: Red fades fast. But should you want to go for it, here are three tips to extend the life of your hair color from hairstylist and color expert Marco Pelusi:
Tip 1: "Anything that can be done to close the cuticle (outer layer) of the hair shaft will help seal in color longer," she says. “We need something to fill the holes in the hair left from hair color, as well as all of the other environmental factors and heat from thermal styling." Try products with protein or collagen in them, which literally fill in the holes "much like tar fills in potholes on a road," he says.
Tip 2: Improve hair health with weekly or bi-weekly moisturizing hair masks ... but stay away from hot oils and mineral oils, which "merely coat and build up on the outer layer of the hair, don't rinse out well and actually dull the color," he says.
Tip 3: Unless you have a scalp issue or very fine, limp strands, don't shampoo your hair every day. This extends the life of color as well as hair health in general. (Our tip: Just using conditioner is OK if you absolutely must wash it.)
