I have done midnight blue: It lasts blue for about a week, but the thing is for me I hate it when it fades. When I begin to notice I will redye my hair over and over. If you don't the blue fades to a light blue and I did not like it. I used Manic Panic. Maybe there are better stuff out there that I have not used. I have also done a plum purple. it fades too. blue/purple would probably last longer since they're the darker colors but it also depends on the brand of the dye that u get and how well u take care of it

they do nooot all last the same amount of time. the darker the color the longer it will stay...so blue, turquoise, purple, red last a pretty long time. for pink it depends, if you get a really bright neon pink it will last a long time, whereas if you get a lighter shade of pink like cotton candy pink it'll last seriously not even a week. as for orange, im not sure because ive never had my hair that color. it also depends on what hair dye you use..if you go to sallys do NOT get the color jams crap because, well, like i said its crap. get manic panic or special effects. and i find its best to leave the dye on longer than the bottle says...id say atleast 2 hours but you wanna make sure you dont leave it on so long that it gets hard 02 Jul 2009 / Reply answer / 0

I think they all last the same amount of time, it just depends on how you take care of it. If you use a special coloring shampoo and conditioner treatment it should last quite a long time. I know garnier fructise has the color shield system. But i'm not exactly sure because I'm not allowed to dye my hair.
