i just comb mine after i get out of the shower and it takes all the waves out
you can also try the bristle barrol brush, start blowdrying with it at the base of your hair at the crown of your hair. roll it a bit towards the ends of your hair so it grabs on a bit then pull it straight while the dryer is on it toward the ends of your hair
