Sick of my hair!!! Any new ideas?

Last May I donated 7 1/2 inches of my hair to kids with cancer. I'm really glad I did it but my hair WILL NOT GROW! It's like the same length as it was when I got it cut. Anyway, pretty much the only thing I do with it is straighten it, which is really boring. So if you have any ideas of what to do with it, it would be greatly appreciated
