Okay, don't let my hair grow out?

I am trying to let my hair grow out and I really don't know...it is at a point where I cannot do anything with it. This picture is during my first pregnancy when I was a LOT smaller and had my hair cut real short...I would spike it a lot and sometimes just slick it down like this. I am getting older and fatter and just want to look better!
I am blunt, got much attitude and bold but at the same time insecure with my looks. What do you guys think?

if you really want to look better, just try not to pay that much attention on your hair. Turn your attention to your shape for example. you're always saying that you're getting older and fatter.
Here are 2 tips:
- you feel old just because you don't feel good the way you are
- you are getting fat not because you're old and this is the way it should be!

so if you want to feel better, look better, try to keep a diet, do some exercises, pay more attention to your children when you're thinking about eating something. it helps to you're health condition and make you feel happier and prettier!
Read some beauty tip from this site. and apply them. it works. I've been there to. (not having children but I was in your position a while ago)
hope i didn't piss you off with this answer!
