Looking for a new hair style. Any ideas?

Right now I have hair that goes just past my bra strap. I intend to get a body wave done soon, but before that I want to get a haircut. Okay, I want to keep the length but have sone sorta bangs, like side bangs or something that look okay when I put my hair in a ponytail. Maybe something rocker-style? Something shaggy but not crazy. Any help?
