Is this photo an example of a style for thick hair?

Hi--
I'm looking for a chic, professional, but feminine hairstyle. My stylist recommended that I look at photos of women with thick hair. I LOVE the Jessica Simpson style shown in the link below, but I have a hard time distinguishing hair texture. So, what do you all think-- does this qualify as thick hair? Is this a good example to bring my stylist at my next cut?
