My answer is no. Your complexion really goes with the darker (black?) hair very well. The black comes across as, "I'm sleek, I'm formal, I'm sophisticated," but also as, "I'm sexy, I'm young, I'm daring, and I'm up for variety". When you're wearing your contacts, it also really makes your eyes pop out, whether you're wearing black eyeliner or not. I think lighter hair would really ruin these already beautiful effects.
But honestly, if you're looking for change, and you're really set on dying your hair lighter, do it. But I think it will almost ad years to your face and give it too mellow of a effect. I like the sharp, neat look of your hair now.
