I'm wondering about a haircut and color...

I have thick, coarse, naturally curly hair. Right now, it's dark brown at the roots and light blonde at the bottom. (I haven't colored in over a year! I knnow, I know...lol) It's incredibly think...it takes me an hour and a half to fully blowdry it...even then it still retains some curl and the frizz is horrendous! I want to keep it long- it's basiclly tywo lenghts at this point: the top layer is at my shoulders and the bottom layer is about mid-shoulder blade. Looking at the pic and my face shape- I'm also a bigger girl so I have to take that into consideration, is there a cut that's good for me? I also was wondering about a shade of brown...I really want a rich brown...like chocolate or espresso. Any suggestions?
