I'm growing my hair out again and it's in the awkward stage, what can I do?

My hair used to be long, and like the spontaneous person I am, I just walked in my bathroom and cut it all off one day and I've hated it since, so I'm growing it back out but it just looks horrible and so awkward. What hairstyles or cuts can I do to make it bearable until it's finally long again?

My hair is about the same length and two things I have done lately are different styles of pulling it half back.
One way I like to do it is to take about a nickel sized bunch of hair from over each ear, twist it so that is forms a roll and secure the two together at the back of your head.
Similarly take the same pieces of hair but braid them before pulling them to the back. Today I started with one braid in the center and two on the sides and pulled all three together. It made a very cool effect and didn't take long to do. Your hair may be too short to put it all in a braid, like mine is, but you should be able to braid the top part which will give it a little more style and keep it out of your face until it grows a little longer.

You could try putting it up in a ponytail if its long enuff thats what i usually do when my hair looks crappy on some days.

you can always try pinning your bangs back or adding a cute headband!

i know exactly what your talking about my hair is at that stage right now and im thinking about just going back short because its pissing me off not growing fast enough, its about the length in your picture and i cute it about 2 years ago and wore it short and then everyone is going short so i wanted to go long again, i cut off 8 inches when i went short why o why did i do that!!
