I want to grow my hair out, but it grows so slow!!!! What can I do?

It's grown about 3 inches in 8 months. It takes forever!!! Is there any way to make hair grow faster? Or any products that are affordable and actually work cuz I really dont want to wait 2 years to have hair to my shoulders. Thanks. =D

my hair grows just about as slow. the best thing you can do is give it time it takes lots of patience. the next best thing is to keep it healthy with as least amount of split ends as possible so that you dont have to cut the dead ends off extra short when you get a haircut and you may not even have to get a cut hardly at all if it stays really healthy. nothing external can help your hair grow faster-once its out of the scalp there its just there, and can only be kept healthy not forced to grow faster. you can try prenatal vitamins, extra protein, or horse shampoo are all ways people say help but nothings been proven except genetics 04 Nov 2009 / 0

well first your hair can only grow so fast just like your nails

comb your hair at least 2 times a day to help break up the oils on your scalp and help the folicles breath

tie what you can up in a loose pony to help stimulate the folicles

give your head a massage in the shower while you shampoo and condition
