I want a scene hairstyle but...

I'm suppose to be getting my hair done these Thursday. I want a scene hairstyle that goes a little past my shoulders. but my mom saw the back and said i can't get the hairstyle if it's like that. i really do want the hairstyle but is it possible to keep the back like normal and not looked like a dog chewed on it like my mother put it?

haha. if u get lightly llonger layers on the top, u will be able to put it up. u just have to tease it more underneath when u style it,
