I need help, how can I style this hair so it looks better and What products should I use?

My hair got cut today and its not like what I pictured. I need to know some good products and styles to use on this short of hair. List steps on how to do it if you can. thanks!

straighten your hair, and use cute hairbands and hairclips since in my opinion they give a nice effect. if the top layers are short enough you can also spike them using extra-hold hair gel. and you can also curl your hair with rollers for a change. 08 Feb 2009 / Reply answer / 0

Ok look at this pic maybe you should do somthing wild and take out the piercings and use red lip stick and pink eyeshadow and you will look like a popstar!

i myself have short hair (shorter than yours even) and a straightening iron is a MUST, even for people with naturally straight hair. pin straight hair is necessary, unless you want you hair to look mullet-y after styling. and if youre going for a scene/emo kind of look, matte texture is great. garnier fructis PLAY! texturizing hair clay is wonderful, i use it every day.

now for your steps...
1. straighten IMMEDIATELY after washing and drying (it helps cut down on damage)
2. rub pomade/wax/clay (whatever you use) between your hands and run it through your hair, starting at the roots and working to the tips
3. for the "big hair" look, tease lightly at the roots with fingertip, then gently brush tips of hair upwards, going TOWARDS the scalp (going downward defies the purpose)
4. blast hair with aerosol hairspray (i use got2b cementing spray) for about 10 seconds, covering all of your hair
5. while still damp, scrunch a bit, more at the top and a tiny bit at the bottom
6. add any accessories and youre all set!

aww i had my hair reeally short and BRIGHT red like taht kinda once and i used Bedhead i think its called manipulator and i straightened it and it really defined some parts and it looked really choppy and crazy and it would be cute on you / Reply answer / 0

hair wax looks really good with short hair, i love "warped" styling wax, u could probably get that wherever you get your hair done. also pantene's texture and shine defining pomade works well, you could get that at wal mart or target. / Reply answer / 0 Reply answer
