I need advice, Im getting a haircut and i dont know what to get, my hair is thin and.. well scene?

Well, My hair is thin and only about 10cm longer than my shoulders, I have a ghd straightner so if it requires straightening that isnt a problem, Im over my hair being plain and i want a bit of a scene hair cut but nothing TOO full on, im thinking of dieing my hair a dark brown but i dont know how to cut it, I love the look of straight fringes but im not sure if it will suit me and i like side fringes but i dont know i am 14 and i need help can some one help me out and give me some suggestions please? thanks
