How do you get Sharon Osborn hair color? I have dark hair but I wat it red like Sharons.

I have dark hair and have tried dying it dark purple and dark red colors but it always turns out looking black. how do i get my hair to be red?

What i ended up doing is bleaching my bangs (again) and then dyed my hair a fire red made for dark colored hair. It's awesome!!!! my hair is now the color I have been wanting for so long.
