how do i acheive this hairstyle? please be specific...mens style, help please.

At the moment i am still in the process of growing, my hair is similar in length on top, but the sides and fringe (bangs) still need some growing yet. The hair on the side of my head covers the top half of my ears, how much longer do i need to wait before it is like the picture? What do i need to ask for at the barbers? does he have layers etc? how do i maintain the flicks at the side? how do i keep the hair in shape? tell me as much as i can, i really like this hairstyle, but i am clueless when it comes down to hair, If you could answer in detail that would be fantastic, thank you..

yea it's long layers
basicly you want the bottom texturized with layers
always bring in a pic and they can give you advice on how to maintain the look
but it's pretty easy you might need a curler if you have really straight hair and some hairspray
really i would put on a hat, spray the bottom with some hairspray or use some clay to make it sticky and push it up against the bottom of the hat to give it that feathered look 09 May 2009 / Reply answer / +1
