Help! Recently cut my hair and hate it, do I cut it more or just deal with it?

So recently, in a moment of impulsivity, I cut my hair short and really don't like it! I know I have the potential to love my hair short but am kind of limited as to what I can do... Basically I'd either need to find a short pixie cut like Natalie Portman's old cut or Victoria Beckham's recent one or I need to just not touch it and let it grow out. I know I want to go back to a bob but so that I don't hate my hair so much right now and the growing out process is easier what should I do? I'm down for any styles, emo, punk, girly, whatever goes with my face shape (something between oval and round). What should I do? If you think I should alter the cut at all pictures would be extremely helpful.

Thanks all the answers so far. As for extensions, would I be able to but in clip ins or would it be too hard to blend them in? Any instructions/videos would be super helpful. Also I found a picture of a cute shorter cut. Its not the greatest quality but let me know what you think.

I really do want to experiment with a short cut, especially for summer. I mean I look at it as I have the rest of my life to grow my hair out, so I should just experiment and have fun!

Any ways, let me know what you think of this cut I'm including. I also really like Pixie Geldof's cuts, which would be an easy transition with my short bangs.

i would just leave it alone. u might grow 2 like it and even find new styles. like if u like Twilight and Alice Cullen u could even try 2 go 4 her look.it is kinda between punk and girly and gives a soft side 2 your face. sorry if u dont like twilight or anything i said. but think it is not a hair cut that makes u u but your personality. hope this helps! 05 Jul 2009 / Reply answer / 0

i would leave it alone and you can already have that other cut you just need to use a lil putty maybe to help smooth your hair off to the side

but yea if you keep trying to fix it i think someone's going to accidently make you bald o.0

and if you put in quite a few hair extensions you can actually get them cut to make a longer shaggy look or you can have extensions actually put in instead of clipped in to last a bit longer (but then you wouldnt' get to play wit the short hair)

and you can always just buy a clip in hair piece which is like a BUNCH of hair that attaches under your hair and makes it look longer again

the second picture would really enhance your features, but remember that if you get it cut that way, then it will just take longer for it to grow out, also extensions is another option. (: but i personally think your hair looks super cute as it is, but that's my opinion. at the end of the day it's up to you, as long as at the end of it all, you're happy with your hair and the way it looks. (;

with the extensions your natural hair will show but its not supposed to show too much if well put in.

but i really also like the second picture, it would really fit well with your face shape. it all depends if you want to stay short or cover up the mistake by keeping it long?

well you could look up how to style short emo and scene hair, thats what i did, and you could buy the products and style it that way, or you could go and get a haircuter to cut your hair like the way you want it, thats what i did too. but if you want your hair alittle longer or you dont like what your hair looks like, let your hair grow until its the right size for the hair style you want. if you need anything else let me know 04 Jul 2009 / Reply answer / 0
