Has anyone worn a wig before? Any information would be awesome

So I recently got my hair cut really short and hated it so I cut it more, and more, and more. Long story short I figured this would be a good idea to give my hair a rest from dye, heat products, etc, etc since I am used to doing a lot with my hair. But I'm very self conscious and having short hair only makes it worse. Sooo I'm basically searching around for wigs right now. I know a lot of celebrities do it and think it would be super fun!

If anyone has any experience with wigs, from picking them out, buying them, caring for them, using them, etc I'd love to hear your experience, advice, tips, whatever! Right now I'm looking at a brand called Forever Young which has really cute styles plus its inexpensive (which is great for someone taking a break from work).

Hope to hear from you!

When you get a wig, you need a good quality one. You dont want it to look fake. To store it i would suggest a large coffee can. Slide the wig over top of the can. You also would need to brush it 2x a day. To wash a wig, rinse with cold water, and use just a DAB (about the size of the tip of your pinkie) or shampoo and conditioner. Using the 2 in 1 shampoo-conditioners works great. Wash about once or twice a week. Also make sure you use a hair net under the wig, and dont sleep in it. hope i helped!! 07 Jul 2009 / Reply answer / 0
