Ugh.. Clothing Trends..

So ive noticed how many people at my school and around me try to become 'scene' and it really annoys me. Anyone else have the same problem?

i agree, people are way to eager to dress like someone else to fit in or make people like them...i think its way easier to be yourself and dress how u want to and screw them if they dont like it.

Well I dunno about scene but I really do hate when people just change themselves. I have this friend who FAVOURITES EVERYTHING. Okay you know that person who's like, "I wanna get this it's so cool". "This is now my favourite thing EVER". Well she's getting these glasses. Their the big wayfarer glasses looking. Except their like glasses not sunglasses. Anyway, she doesn't even NEED glasses! yep..i just wanna tell them straight up!they jus dont know how the heck they wanna dress like or call themselves..which is really pathetic...sadly even my cuzzo started being a 'scene' poser...she was like girly-ghetto fab e.e..then im like hav u ever heard of this style its real cute.(back in 7th grade wen i didnt think know about labels as being so annoying) but yeah..she didnt know what it was..then she just you know liked it and was like oo i wanna get this blah blah, started being all "hardcore" and wanting the haiiir and all...I feel bad cuz..she changed herself..and sumtimes i feel its my fault kinda wen they look poser-ish...but mhm.. 22 Jun 2009 / Reply answer / 0

i HAD this friend named ashton, a girl, who came to my town, lookin all scene and stuff, she and i became like besties, and i found out that she just spurt of the moment decided to turn scene right before she came to my town! i was looking at pictures in her house and she was a MAJOR prep, like the PREP of all PREPS! and when we got into this huge fight, over a guy,go figure, and she called me a poser, it ruined me... lol
but im staying true....

Yeah! I am entering 8th grade this year. I have some friends who have had the 'scene' look for years but the posers go up to them and are all like, "Wow you friggin poser" and then you just look at them. Ive already gotten detention once for punching them in the face Hahaha.. They deserved it..

Oh gawd yes! Every single one of my frends walk around and they're all like "I'm emo/goth." and I'm like uh, no your not, your just a friggin poser. I mean it was me who started the trend [[started in the 7th grade fer meh]] then we come back fer the 8th grade and all of a sudden my friends claim they're all f-ing emo/goth or whatever. i mean how much more obvious can you get? Sometimes I wish I never changed my style, only because of them. I mean, my frends go online to find out what kind of clothes they have to wear, i just started doing it, i mean i didn't even get internet till this year!
