Homemade halloween costume ideas?

aiiioooh.
I want to put together my costume this year
mostly from things I have around my house, or
can get cheaplyy.
I'm not the least bit creative, so I'm kindaa stuck on what to be.^^
also, because of this, it has to be something fairly easy.
I'd like it to be cute, I sposee.
I was thinking maybe likee aa jail person/escapee type thingy?[:
like I could take a well fitting hanes shirt, and stripe it black,
then buy a pair of handcuffs at the dollar store, and just pair it with
jeans and tenniess. but I don't want to look not dressed up, or like a
refree.:/
I was going to just be a school girl, but my sissy threw away her
plaid skirt.DX

i always liked doing the dark clothes thing and being a ninja with a piece of black fabric wrapped around my face too and make some of those paper ninja stars (you can do an origami search for that)

or a vampire or a witch : P (very emo makeup with hair down and a cheap black dress from somewhere with silver jewlery

you could be a ghost : P lol just cut eye holes in a sheet. i was a skeleton one year. i just wore black clothes with gloves and a beanie that had skeletion hands and a skull.

and last year to work i had this baseball jersey i got from a thrift store that was the team 'volcanos' and i just wore it with a white undershirt (it was a kid's button up jersey so it fit all snugg and i unbuttoned it half way) and a pair of jeans, i braided my hair too and brought a bat

i remember in 4th grade i was hippie

i made one of my dads shirt tie dye and then cut it up to be a vest. Then i wore super flared jeans and sandals. and of course i had the peace signs everywhere. but alot of people are hippies ._. this year i'm probably just gonna put on random things like clown makeup with my tie dye vest x] and then temporaily dye my hair a crazy color like,orange. and spray myself with string confetti. stuff like that O_O my friend adam is gonna be an ipod this year xD i gave him the idea. just take a GIAGANTOR box and like spray paint it any color and then make the ipod screen. it might get a bit pricey though o.e 26 Sep 2009 / Reply answer / 0
