I think it really depends on the attitiude you wear it with. Some people wear those shirts because they are proud of where they are from and some people do wear it to piss certain people off(which is kinda sad). But,in all honesty,if you wanna wear the shirt then wear it.Unless it has some rude remarks written across the front of it than anyone, unless they're really judgemental, shouldnt take a lot of offence to it.But then again,it really depends on what part of the country you are from.Hope this helped =) 13 Nov 2009 / 0

well...a few people see that the dixie symbol, confederate sign, ect is a racist slur (not verbally but through nonverbal expression). a few people see it as a southern pride thing. and some people view banning it as an violation of their freedom of speech, but it has been banned in some schools. the south, incidentally, is the part of the country that held slaves in the civil war. there are still some tense feelings about that 01 Nov 2009 / 0

the flag is a sign of the south that fought FOR slaves. but really the flag i believe stands for the south not really 'fighting for slaves' but some people feel VERY strong about that and the Dixie flag reall does stand for that to alot of people 01 Nov 2009 / 0 Reply answer
