shaving?

ok well i just turned 14 like last month and i have gym for the rest of the year...and my legs are like super hairy. (gross i know!)

Anywho, my mom wont let me shave and my dad wont either because they dont think i need to but im so embarrassed.

Ive tried showing my legs or making it noticable like when we went swimming to kinda put it out there but its still a no. i cant buy anything on my own without them asking what it is so what should i do?

I have never shaved the top of my legs and they are fine. When i was the bottom of my legs where like proper black hair and long and my parents wouldnt let me shave, but then after a while i just did it and they didnt eben say anything they didnt notice.

My sister did it when she was like 10 but she had proper black hair my mum and dad didnt know the first time but when she did it again she cut herself really bad all the front of her leg she had taken the skin off and had to go to hospital now she still has a big scar.

So maybe they dont want you to because of this. Just sit with your mum and tell her its really bad and people are saying things to you at school and its efffecting your school work because you are really that embaressed about it. Then maybe she will feel that you need to. Sometimes grownups dont understand unless you proper over exagerate the situation.lol.

well i know a few girls that still havent shaved and some of them are seventeen years old... its kinda better if u shave later.. your legs wont get super dried out.. but if your not in favour of shaving try waxing.. if your parents wont let then its alright.. you can shave much later on.. those girls i know that still havent shaved yet actually have really nice legs too !! im sure u have too either with hair or no hair

youre only fourteen... best to just listen to your parents instead of going against their will and getting in trouble and possibly ruining any chances of getting what you want in the future. dont be self concious about it... just joke about it. i didnt start shaving until i was 16, and didnt even wear a bra until 16 1/2! its not a real big deal. 27 Sep 2009 / 0 Reply answer
