ok so are piercings wrong????????

i know tattoos are wrong but are piercings.i just got my first piercing.i just dont know.

Why do you think tattoos are wrong? What about them makes them wrong to you? ( i know this is your opinion..) Why do you think piercings are okay? Do you think that people with tatoos are wrong? ( just wondering...not pointing fingers or anything. because I thought the bible did say that piercings are also wrong because you are decimating your body still...? Do you think that clitorus piercing is not as bad as someone with a star tatoo on their ankle?

i think tattoos are wrong because i belive its in leviticus 19;27 or 18 it says in Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead,nor print any marks upon you:i am the Lord thy God.and i dont judge people because they have a tattoo or not.i just think you shoulnt get tattoos.

Nah i dont think tattoos are wrong. I think the bible verse means that we're not to tattoo ourselves as in idolizing them or getting a tat to symbolize something evil or a god of some sort. Now do think its wrong to get a tattoo for that reason and i think its wrong like when pll get tats for that reason like "this is how much money i have so i got a tattoo of it" or like devils or evil things like that. But i think its fine like say if you get somebody's name or like a butterfly (or whatever that will symbolizing them) on you in like remembrance of that person or because you love them that you want to keep them close. Like that would be the only reason that i would get one. Like my Army bro got one, and its of our family of military guys tattoo (sorta like a family brotherhood from generation to generation) its a symbol and then the words "With out God there is nothing" so it’s a good tat. What's the difference if we were to draw on ourselves everyday or you get that drawing permanent?

if you are a STRICT christien then both are wrong they are altering the body from it's natural form but some say makeup is the same too

Tattoos aren't wrong as long as it is legal, and it has a meaning. Piercings are fine,but it depends on where it is. and, how will the piercings affect your ability to be respected in the job market. that is my opinion, though.

It can depend on who you're asking. Adults can be different
but i think most kids aren't that bothered. I mean they can think they are cool
and also it depends where it is. I think lips eyebrows nose and upper ears are fine ( for me ) but most other places can be strange
